Veterinary Technician

West Allis Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team and act as a mentor to other team members. We are a high quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital. We are looking for an experienced technician who wants to join a hospital that is dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule – although you will be asked to work some evenings and rotating Saturday shifts will be required.

Candidates must have experience in the following areas: venipuncture, pharmacy duties, lab work, radiology and handling medical records, with additional experience in surgical assistance, maintaining & monitoring anesthetized patients. Top priority will be given to LVT or CVT candidates and those with ferret experience, although all candidates will be considered.

Our Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as serving as major communicators for our hospital. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
