Trina Steffen, DVM

Dr. Trina Steffen, our Chief of Staff, grew up and currently resides in West Allis, Wisconsin. She received both her undergraduate and DVM degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Prior to joining the West Allis Animal Hospital team, Dr. Steffen practiced at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, Connecticut, BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Northbrook (Chicago), Illinois, and Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. She is thrilled to be practicing at the clinic that took care of her family’s dog when she was a child. Her special interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine, and pain management.

Outside of work, Dr. Steffen enjoys reading, gardening, and re-discovering the city that she grew up in through the eyes and mindset of her son. She has 2 cats (Bruce and Clark) and an English Bulldog named Buckingham(Bucky).
