Kaylyn Goertz, DVM
Dr. Kaylyn Goertz grew up in West Allis and received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. Prior to veterinary school, she volunteered at a nature center and a wildlife rehabilitation center. She received her DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and returned to her hometown to join the West Allis Animal Hospital team in 2019. Her favorite part about working with animals is building relationships with her patients and their families.
In her free time, Dr. Goertz’s interests include music, camping and hiking, and traveling, especially to national parks and natural areas. Her favorite travel experiences include Acadia National Park in Maine and lower Antelope Canyon in Arizona. She currently resides in West Allis with her Beagle mix named Ted, Chihuahua mix named Izze, and a cat named Smidge.
