David Mentjes, DVM

Dr. Mentjes has been practicing in the Milwaukee area since graduating from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1993. He joined the staff of West Allis Animal Hospital in 2007. Prior to joining the West Allis Animal Hospital team, Dr. Mentjes practiced in Greenfield and Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. His special interests include wellness care, general medicine and surgery.

Dr. Mentjes and his wife have a teenage daughter, twin young boys, a golden retriever, three cats, and a number of fish. An avid runner, he also enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, reading, and occasionally watching movies.
